許旆誠擅長以充滿詩意的筆觸，色彩和獨具巧思的構圖，在畫布上書寫出一幅幅視覺性的短篇小說和幽幽的散文。而他的作品受到成長文化的影響，具有東方的意象，同時穿梭在掌握物件立體樣貌的西方藝術手法，與東方山水中扁平視角觀點的相互交錯之際，許旆誠將遠景近物共置於同一空間之內，創造出或虛或實的異質空間(Heterotopia)。

許旆誠就像是夢境的旅人。他將旅途的夢境轉化，這個轉化，除了轉化了他所面對的世界，也轉化了隱含在他的藝術觀點背後屬於他自己的生命觀點。因此我們可以說許旆誠既是一個畫家，也是一個詩人。他是一個透過畫面表達的詩人。

Pei-Cheng Hsu paints with poetic strokes and colors.With his ingenuity,graphic stories and essays get painted on canvas,one after another.

His choice of colors, symbols and strokes reflect the oriental imagery rooted in his cultural background.His work blends together the three-dimensional perspective of western painting and the two-dimensional approaches of oriental landscape paintings. He juxtaporses remote and close objects to create heterotopia between the virtual and the real.

Pei-Cheng Hsu is like a traveler in the dreamscape. His transformation changes the world he faces as well as the view on life that’s hidden behind his artistic view.Hence, we say that Hsu Peicheng is a painter and a poet.He paints his poetry on canvas.
